WHAT IS THE “MFP"?

“MPF” methodology is inspired by the “Tactical Periodization” concept and I´ve been applying it on the clubs I worked.

“MFP” is a 3 weeks training plan for football players (recreational or professional). It is a specific HIIT program aiming to develop all the important physical abilities demanded in football: Endurance, Strength, Power & Speed.

Different physical ability trained in a different week day!

The drills presented in the program are running based HIIT, prescribed according to the physical ability to be developed on that specific day.

The training schemes are: Activation, Strength, Endurance and Speed. Training schedule was developed to make sure you will train in HIGH INTENSITY and have a proper recovery between the training sessions.

During the last 7 years, I applied this methodology with my players in the clubs I worked and also with my personal clients.

Who Am I?  Champion!!!

I´m Matheus Fontes, Brazilian, working with PRO football since 2006. I´m graduated in Sport Science and I have a PRO Level fitness coach license issued by AFC (Asian Football Confederation). 

I lived and worked in 5 different countries and my first experience in the Middle East was in 2008. 

During my carrier I had the opportunity to work in big institutions (clubs) including the Brazilian National Team. 

During my journey, I met and worked with World Champion Head coach, Players who played FIFA world cup and UEFA Champions league. I´m lucky enough to work with football legends! With them, I learnt what makes difference in football and I learnt how to build champions. 

Since 2017 I´m based in Dubai, assessing and training football players. This experience allowed me to understand the reason why the community raised in the Middle East has a lot of injuries in the Knee and normally present a poor fitness performance.

I know how to work with this population, I always have very low rate of injuries in my teams and recently I was champion with most of the teams I worked.

Football has a transformation power. Football changed my life  and through “MFP – The Most Fit Player” I hope I can help people get fit to play football and take advantage of all benefits that football can bring to their life.
