The 'MFP' methodology is inspired by the 'Tactical Periodization' concept, which I've applied at the clubs where I've worked.

Who Am I?  Champion!!!

I'm Matheus Fontes, a Brazilian professional who has been working in pro football since 2006. I graduated in Sport Science and hold a PRO Level fitness coach license issued by the AFC (Asian Football Confederation).

I've lived and worked in five different countries, with my first experience in the Middle East occurring in 2008.

In my career, I've had the opportunity to work with major institutions, including the Brazilian National Team.

Throughout my journey, I've met and worked with World Champion head coaches and players who have participated in the FIFA World Cup and UEFA Champions League. I'm fortunate to have had these experiences.

Since 2017, I've been based in Dubai, assessing and training football players. This experience has allowed me to understand why the community raised in the Middle East experiences a high incidence of knee injuries and generally exhibits poor fitness performance.

I know how to work with this population; I consistently maintain a very low rate of injuries in my teams, and recently, I have been a champion with most of the teams I've worked with.

Football has transformative power. It changed my life, and through “MFP – The Most Fit Player,” I hope to help people get fit to play football and take advantage of all the benefits that football can bring to their lives.
